James Stephens International Academy’s Kelly Stedman named Florida’s assistant principal of the year

Congratulations are in order for Kelly Stedman of James Stephens International Academy. Stedman was announced the winner of the state’s Assistant Principal of the Year award! Stedman began her career with Lee County schools as a teacher in 2004, and took on her first administrator role at Veterans Park Academy for the Arts 10 years later. We are so thrilled to work with talented administrators like Stedman and look forward to continuing to feed the students

Champions 4 Children brings out big-time athletes to support Blessings in a Backpack

The Champions 4 Children charity weekend was held at Sanibel Harbor Resort & Spa from May 4-6. This one-of-a kind event featured the opportunity for attendees to interact with big-time athletes from a variety of sports organizations including the NFL, NBA, MLB and PGA as well as Olympic and collegiate players. The largest beneficiary of the Champions 4 Children 2017 weekend was Blessings in a Backpack of Southwest Florida, which feeds more than 3,200 children

Champions visit Tice Elementary and James Stephens International Academy

It was a day of blessings for all. Champion celebrity athletes joined Blessings in a Backpack of Southwest Florida to distribute nutritional food packages for the weekend to students and inspire them to dream big, make the right choices, and get a good education.
